Annabels Deliciously British

My name is Annabel Makin-Jones, I am a wife to my husband Chris and mother to my children Oscar and Jemima I have been running our family business – Annabels Deliciously British on the outskirts of Leeds since 2004, not only am I a business woman but I am also a farmer, dedicated to producing the best Great Britain has to offer.

I was involved with various farming enterprises throughout my younger years, from lambing to grading potatoes, and I am passionate about the British food industry.

We have been growing strawberries on the family farm for over 16 years and Annabel’s Deliciously British was born when I established a clear gap in the market for a high quality, socially responsible brand in 2019.

Sustainable, environmentally friendly farming has been at the heart of our business for years, and embracing the wonky fruit that doesn’t make it into our punnets not only adds an intensely fruity flavour to our jam and chutney, but also brings us towards zero-waste.

There are more products in the pipeline for 2021 with Yorkshire honey at the top of the list.
